Just seen it on Sportsnet highlights. Couldn't find it on youtube, yet.

Still can't find anything, but it was a pretty good two handed slash to the back of Michalek's legs. Definite intent to injure IMO Dirty play.

can not believe both refs missed that. Probably just be a fine since michalek got up.

also saw a funny stat that the oilers have been outshot in 30 of their 40 games. They have a ways to go.

The apologetic response from the Oilers broadcast crew is unsurprising, and equally pathetic. Apparently Hall was fed up with all the clutching and grabbing, and responded..."Messier style".

Man. Hall may be very talented but boy can he be a total dumb ass at times.

Not the first time. DeBrusk tried to defend Hall's hit on Clutterbuck earlier this season. Those two take homerism to a whole new level.

Maybe Hall is a character witness in DeBrusk's trial for beating up cab drivers.

The Rangers 3-2 SO win over the Leafs creates a 3 way tie for 6th place. The Leafs get a point and are solidly in 5th place now. The Bruins almost blew a 4 goal lead but they hung on for the 5-4 reg win and take over 3rd place in the east. The Devils have not won a game since Kovalchuk got injured, 0-4-4. The Coyotes beat the Oilers 3-1. Dubnyk was the goat for 2 of the goals. The 3 results I guessed right but the Avs beating the Ducks 4-1? Didn't see that coming. The Ducks losing at home like that, yikes. That screwed my SportsAction ticket.

I don't see how Hall gets less than 4 games.

I didn't want to bring up the Justin Schultz thread but you do think he's kicking himself in the arse for not resigning with Anaheim with the way they are playing right now and are actually in the post season while the Oilers are on the brink of missing out? haha, looks like Karma got to him, eh.

Wouldn't be surprised if nothing comes out of is. It's a two tiered league. Headshots to Flames players and vicious two handers to Coyotes players aren't looked at in the same light as if the acts were commited against say the Leafs, Rangers, Penguins, Hawks.

Not sure if he's kicking himself in the head but he deserves everything he gets for screwing over the Ducks and joining one of the worst teams in the history of the NHL over the past 7 years.

This was the Oilers season. The stars were perfectly aligned for them to break out and possibly make the playoffs with only 48 games and most of their top players all ready to go after playing in various leagues across the world. They suffered no major injuries at all, have iced one of the most healthy teams in the league which for that franchise is a rarity, their goaltender is having his career season, and they still find themselves not even close to making the playoffs. I can't imagine next season playing out better for them. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if the injury bug destroys them next year and they finish behind even the Flames.

To me it pretty much confirms that this season was a massive disappointment for them. With all they had going and the end result being a finish in the bottom third (if they go full tank they have the pedigree to get close to the top five). Heads should roll up north, but they won't.

Especially because their defense and goaltending, which SHOULD be their weak points, over-achieved this season to make up for the forwards. Next year even if the forwards are better, don't expect the backend to be as good as they were this year
