Hope this ends up being like the Reggie trade. Flames fans hearing names like Luke Adam, Ennis, getting a 2nd round pick ect. only to get Butler and Byron.
Shark fans are thinking Couturier but will end up with Mitch Wahl and Tyler Hostetter.

I refuse to believe it. Even if Phi has an extension in place with Clowe that is one lopsided trade

Honestly, I don't think the delta exists.
Bryzgalov's contract, Pronger's 35+ contract (idiot didn't read the CBA), Richards trade, Carter trade, etc. His team was young, had talent throughout the lineup and he blew that all up for a schizophrenic flash in the pan goaltender.
Garth Snow, Holmgren, Tambellini and Feaster likely sit at the kids table during the GM meetings.

If this is even remotely true, and Couturier is actually available, Feaster should be offering anyone on today's roster for him. Inexcusable to let Ryan freaking Clowe be traded for him when you have better players to offer up.

I'd offer Glencross and Pitts 1st for Couturier if i was Feaster. Maybe get a 3rd or 4th round back also , but i would not really care.

What sucks is that SJS will be in our division for the next decade.
Couture-Couturier-Pavelski, good like trying to score on that trio.

Does he have a NTC or NMC? If NTC there would be a good chance that Philly would be on the list of teams he would go to.

Nothing substantial (yet )in talks at the moment, source says of Flyers talks for Jagr, Bouwmeester and Clowe. But Homer is working phones.

I'd say yes to latter 2, ESPECIALLY JayBo. RT @trojanman28: @BroadStBull Jagr, clowe NO No NO! Bouw, yes! #Tradetracker

Or the Flyers could trade Couturier for someone who isn't a rental player and has actually scored goals. Why would they want Clowe for 13 games? They're not making the playoffs. This is just dumb in every possible way.

Calgary would have to retain salary, as the Flyers are already tight to the cap. But it's a deal that makes a lot of sense for both teams if they can swing it.
