FYI, they did change the law two or three years ago to make indoor prostitution illegal, so the strip clubs are slightly more tame now than they were before. As I noted above, though, the Cadillac Lounge and Desire are still very much worth visiting.
As for Sox tickets, they're always easy to get on StubHub and they're not hard to get at the box office when the team is bad, but I wouldn't count on having much luck at the box office for an early season game before the fans' hopes are crushed. Whether you go through the box office or StubHub, don't get suckered into sitting in the right field bleacher seats just because they're relatively cheap. They face at an awkward angle away from home plate and really are a terrible place to sit.

I've been to Providence, I'm not sure why you'd want someone to go there. It's not terrible, but it's certainly not amazing.
Ah, Gargamel's post tipped me off. Honestly, if that's your goal a trip to this area of the world is a bad choice all around.

The Liberty Hotel is fantastic. Not the cheapest, but having a great nightclub right in the lobby with all the fine women it attracts would make it a great homebase for a stag.

We went to Montreal for a stag last halloween and I would much rather go back there than to Vegas...

Depening on the length of your stay, I recommend getting the 7 day transit pass. It is $18 and it is easy enough to get around. They used to have a 3 day pass but it looks like they no longer offer it.

Been to a stag at both Montreal and Vegas, and I definitely agree Montreal was better...although neither compares to New Orleans. Now that is where you do a bachelor party.
As others have said, the "sell out" streak in Boston is a total farce. You will have no problem getting below face value tickets for a game on stub hub or scalpers.

I sat front row at the home plate end of the visitors dugout on a saturday night this summer for well below face value (the team sucking helped with that) and there were tons of tickets available throughout the stadium. A game against Toronto in May isn't going to be a madhouse, and certainly won't require you to stand in any sort of line.

Could be, and I agree with the Jays. I think now it is likely different, especially given the Sox recent struggles. I went a good number of years ago when they were right in the midst of their World Series wins and the craziness of all of it. We went to a game against the Orioles (when they really sucked) and I kid you not there was a line up of 3 - 500 hundred people waiting at a chance to get game day tickets. It was insane.

Vegas is played out. If we were going for strippers and parties we would do Montreal for sure. Thanks for the suggestions everyone they are much appreciated! Keep them coming!

We did a bachelor party in Boston in 2010. Stayed at the Fairmont on Battery Warf. Very nice hotel, but don't drink or eat there, way over priced.
In that area you can walk to everything, we did a Bruins/Flames game and a Celtics game. Obviously your timing will not allow for that, but Boston is awesome.
Really Boston runs on the pubs, they are everywhere and cheap. There is no real place I would say to go, Beacon St was cool, great seafood at Atlantic Fish Co. There are bars around that area.
We stayed closer to home the big night out, saw the hockey game, and headed out on a Boston tour drunk (it was awesome), then out to the pubs, ripped it up, and ended up at some random hotel party.
Honestly, Boston is one of the best cities I have been too. People are great, food is great, and we were drunk the whole time. There is lots to do, and you can't really go wrong going there.
