Herald, CNN, Aljazeera English, CBC, and Flipboard. As far as international news goes I find Aljazeera to be the best.

Local news I get from the Calgary Herald website or the app on my iPad.
I get the smartphone notifications from the CNN app, which I really like. Sometimes they're pretty quick (Bin Laden death, etc).
I like Google News too.

Google News. Gives a variety of sources. Very useful tool.

Also, Twitter is slowly becoming a go-to point for me, especially for career-related stuff and hockey rumors.
