I can't say I find flying over the prairies any different than flying over anything else....

Best thing to do is grab a ton of stand-up comedy albums. They are all around an hour long and they pass the time very quickly.

Good call trout. The Jay Mohr podcast was pretty good. Never really liked him until the podcast with his take on Carl's Jr.

I find geology interesting, so I seeing the mountains and glaciers from above is an enjoyable experience for me. The prairies and beyond is just wide expanse of nothing-interestingness.

Yes, I am one of the proud few to have graced the streets of Minot ND.

Along this route you have the wonderful opportunity to see some of the hidden gems of North America.

--The giant moose In Moose Jaw is a must.
--Rugby North Dakota is the geographical centre of North America, you would be insane to pass up the opportunity for a legendary Facebook profile pic beside the sign
--In Bemidji Minnesota, there is a giant statue thing of Paul Bunyan and his favorite cow.
--In Michigan, there is a town called Christmas where it is Christmas every day of the year, if that doesn't excite you, you can go join Al Quaida.
--And based on personal experience, I think Sturgeon Falls Ontario holds the record for most Mosquitos per volume of air, in the known universe.
