Your wife is more important than one dumb regular season hockey game between two playoff bubble teams.

Have a nice dinner, enjoy your wife's company, and check the score on your phone later. Or PVR it, avoid checking the score, and watch it tomorrow morning.

It's just hockey, folks.

So young and naive. You obviously aren't married. Hockey and sports in general is always more important then spending time with your wife. Why do you think its is every mans goal to find a lady who supports the same sports teams as him? It is so she doesn't get mad when you watch them all the time

I spend 365 days with my wife. There are only 82 Calgary games each year. 365>82, just trying to even out the disparity

+1 for Cactus Club. My buddy is a manager there and a huge Jets fan. It'll be on every TV and the big screen at the Macleod location tonight. And the food's great!

If it has to be DT I'll second the advice for Metropolitan Grill. Haven't been there in a while, but they used to have some booths that you could sit at and still see the bar tvs.

If you take your wife out for dinner, I'd estimate your chances of scoring are about 75% better than sven's chances of scoring......

If you were my husband, you would have bought tickets to the game and we'd be eating pocket dogs and beef on a bun and dringing heroin beers.

I think the problem here is you didn't marry a fan of the game.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.
