Interiour Designer / Painter for baby's room

I agree with painting and getting some decals. If it was my kid, I would get something like this:

We went the decal route and our kids' rooms looks pretty cool.

For my daughter, we went with these six foot tall flowers all around her room.

For my son we did a bunch of animals and the alphabet.

Personally, I think houses with a bunch of different wacky wall colours don't look very classy...even in a kid's room. Plus if you're a busy guy (which it sounds like you are) and you've got a kid on the way, you and your wife should be finding ways to take stress out of your life, not add it.

So I may have talked her into the etsy decals. Can anyone comment on how easy/hard they were to put up?
