I think alcohol is just a small part of the mix there. She looks like she's on the tail end of a 2 year drug binge, if not more. Totally detached and paranoid.

I've said this many a time, but the fact that she's alive and Heath Ledger is not, really makes me question any higher power.

She was supposed to do the theme for Quantum of Solace, but because she couldn't get her act together, it went to Jack White and Alicia Keys. I'm surprised that she didn't snap out of it then.
