I'm just gonna go ahead and assume it was the guy in the truck's fault until proven otherwise. Generally, the sort of person who runs someone over and then takes off isn't a good driver.

Flipped over the handle bars? Jeez he must have braked hard, I just slipped on the gravel. Would have been a nightmare to go over the handle bars.
