All I have with Shaw is internet. They are charging me $50 a month right now for High Speed because I don't have anything bundled.

I never thought about going to Telus, but if people are having no problems with Telus internet, I may switch over.

That's what I read too. I believe it was in a CBC article, but then I received a text message from her about 20 minutes later. She said that she and two colleagues were let go. Basically, their manager called them in and said it would be their last day with the company. I have no idea if they've been offered a compensation package and/or how extensive it might be. I think the wound is too fresh to ask.

Hm I heard there's a lot of nepotism in Shaw. I heard that a bunch of the upper VPs were family members, and that their job was created for them. I wonder if they got laid off

Unfortunately my Mom was one of many who were let go in Kelowna. She seemed to enjoy working there, and is pretty upset. Luckily she'll get a little bit of a severence package, which will help in the short term.

I hope she is able to find another job before things become difficult.
