That place was the first huge sports store.....

I can't wait, either. Deerfoot Meadows is only 5 minutes from my apartment.

I think its going on until they close...3 or 4 weeks at least.
I am sure all the clearance junk from other stores is shipped there on a weekly basis.

As for Golf stuff...no deals other then the 30% reg price.
Maybe if you're loooking for an average set of clubs, but no better deal than you you can get at various points in the year.

When I was in on Sunday, the teller told me the store was closing May 23rd.

Well im just looking for things like tees and balls. The only place pretty much in drum to buy golf stuff is the pro shop which is expensive and cdn tire.

Closing May 23 is what I was told also.

As for golf balls, they did have about a dozen different types. Some of them in packs of 16 or so, were on sale for 50% off. I dont know enough about them to know if they were any good though, or even recent models.

I am sure they could tell you over the phone. Perhaps you can even take advantage of the sale prices online - I am not sure though.
