The D in Seattle has a surprising amount of depth and could actually be pretty good. They are very light on scoring and offense though but that could change in a week or two. The goaltending might hurt them though.

Well, we all wanted changes with the core of our roster. Getting rid of our captain and one of the best Flames of all time is certainly a big one. And the off season is just getting started.

Gio’s way too much of a pro to show unhappiness. Tanev was giving him a bit of a hand on the shoulder so I wonder if he was bucking him up.

This is worse than losing Iggy. He wanted to leave, we sucked and it was messy. It felt necessary.
