I’d prefer someone boring like Cassie over someone annoying like Jack Edwards.
I just don’t believe anyone actually finds her commentary INTERESTING. She’s the same as Charlie Simmer, doesn’t have hard opinions so she’s bearable but she’s definitely not good at it.
Her re-capping a beautiful goal has the exact same energy as her describing Erik Karlsson’s injury

Shocked to see the sharks have so few shots. It feels like they have been carrying the play for long stretches. The Flames have needed to adapt somewhat and dump the puck more than typical

It’s the lesser of two evils I guess with your analogy of Edwards. A Sunday with Cassie as a colour analyst and hometown hockey makes it tough to watch. But, the reality is any televised flames game is better than none.
Great to hear Prout and his words. Just wants win so bad with this group. A true team player he is.
