You watch all the other series and these teams are flying. Especially the ones that were trailing in each series. Gulutzan better rip a strip off these guys at the break and get them going big time. I don't think the reffing has been as egregious as some but what annoys me is the Ducks ability to play so close to the line, the extra glove to the face, the well-timed hard hit, the extra hack, that Calgary somehow can't / doesn't match. Its intangible but we play with no fear against the likes of the penguins or capitals but we're on egg shells with these lowlives, a team we should totally disrespect.

All sarcasm aside, I still think this is the best roster the Flames have iced for a playoff series in 11 years. But the Ducks are still miles ahead, and that should be scary for the rest of the Western Conference because they aren't even the best team in the West. I'd say St. Louis is. But the Ducks are right there.

When he's on, no one can hit him.

A lot of times this season he's trying to skate through guys and going down like a bowling pin.

We need him to be a slippery snake again that has a step on everyone.

He's been on form a few times this year but it's been far and few in between. He's got to play like he's better than everyone on the ice again. Swagger, and funnel everything at the net. He has it, just has to stop trying things. Stop trying, and just do what's already naturally there.
