well i assume that Philly goes for it here.... one way or the other they need a td+2 and a fg... although even if you do get it, how do you give akers any kind of kick under presuure unless he is within 5 yards

Why the hell do they not run the same kind of option play that the Jets run? Wouldn't it be just as effective with Vick as your QB?

that penalty is not a loss of down penalty, it's a yardage penalty.

It's a 5 yard penalty and because Celek reestablished himself and caught it, the penalty has to occur meaning a replay of the down. It's not a loss of down penalty.

Well that play was even worse. The eagles would really benefit if they could find a good blocking back, lesean mcCoy has improved but not enough to pick up a multi blitz package

I don't like that timeout at this point. I would have saved it depending on what is done on 2nd down.
