I have a lot of sympathy watching these guys go through their own midlife crises. I can relate as they cut off the head of their alternate old-man self in order to feel rejuvenated.

I try never to focus on the personal lives of artists when I hear their music. It's really hard when you listen to someone like Amy Winehouse, or...Karen Carpenter.
There's such a beautiful melancholy to her voice, even in uplifting moments like the chorus of this song, she still has such weight and depth to her delivery. There's a pure emotional quality to her that is so rarely seen. She was truly amazing.
