Why risk a recce team? There were no hostages and its a cabin that can be rebuilt. Nope you bomb it from space to encourage the others to understand the power that you possess.

Basically you live as long as I decide you live. When its time to die, I can get you from anywhere.

Next time some Freeman nutbar pulls a gun and seizes property, you of course give them every opportunity to surrender, if they don't time to hit them with the hammer of the gods.

I don't know where the Sun gets their pictures from, but I am pretty sure this isn't a picture of the Trunk Road. It is a numbered highway and a high grade gravel road with steady heavy truck traffic. This looks like a winter access road that is frozen in the winter and abandoned in the summer.

So the article was rather vague but mentioned the Karr Creek and I have crews quadding through the bush in that area. I spent some time on the phone this afternoon and managed to track down the actual location which is about 15 km north of where we are working so they should be fine but what a waste. I hope at a minimum they are charged for uttering threats with firearms or some such crime.

Grande Prairie 'tax protesters' fined nearly half million dollars for tax evasion

Couple were followers of group which says taxation is a form of slavery

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmont...sion-1.3948110

Evidence showed the couple were introduced to the Paradigm Education Group, and adopted the group's beliefs that as "natural persons" they were not subject to incomes taxes.

In the last few years doing trail maintenance in the Maclean Creek PLUZ I have come across 2 FOTL. The first one I was warned about by AEP because they had come across him before out there and he was armed. The other one was squatting in the same spot for about 6 months he was also removed by AEP. Part of the problem is they can ban them from a FLUZ for a certain amount of days which resets their squatting status. They than move to the ghost once they get caught there they move back. Its an on going problem and its likely going to get worse they usually punt people off crown land daily for squatting.

That Tower poster was a beauty. Always good for a journey into crazytime. I wonder if he ever managed to pay a traffic ticket with a rock.

At some point the 'Freemen on the Land' are going to have to realize that they've crossed the line into just being 'Miscreants in the Woods.'
