So do the Oilers. Let’s get to the 30 game mark. I’m enjoying the season so far, but I’d like to see where they sit after the new year.

She has no interesting anecdotes to relay from her own hockey background to help entertain between breaks in play. She could tell a story about a brusing D she went up against in the Olympics… but none of us would know what she was talking about. That’s not her fault, but it’s one less tool in her toolkit.
She also seems to go out of her way to praise the Oilers. That triggers a lot of folks around here. I assume it’s her attempt to ‘balance’ because her family works for the Flames.
Great to break the glass ceiling, and we need more women calling sports, but they should go with the ones most talented at it. Cassie Campbell is souring the well with her heavy use in a role she isn’t suited to. She may improve with time, but you shouldn’t be “learning on the job” at the NHL level.
I’d like to see more of Cassie in a panelest role where she has time to break down content. She’s excellent at that. And a classy balance to frat manchild Bieksa.
I think Singh is fantastic.

I haven't had any thanks since the game ended, but this hits the nail on the head IMO.
She is great on the panel, discussing particular plays. But she just doesn't have a feel for the flow of the game, live. Nor is she succinct enough to make her point in the finite amount of time available, before the game moves on.
Singh is great, IMO.

Irrelevant after how they’ve played through eleven games but this board just can’t seem to get enough of arguing about the GM.
I think it’s fair to say some people’s minds are made up about his performance and will probably take more than 11 games to change it. 11 playoff games might be different I suppose.

Does anyone have a clip of the fox goal, celebration, then the no-goal call?

Had an idea!

Players are mostly the same.
So, we blame the coach and fire him when those players don't perform.
Therefore its safe to credit the coach if the same players perform.
To me there is a lot that Sutter has done different with the same players in terms of systems, confidence, etc.
Even 4th line Monahan is starting to player better versus sulking because he got demoted.

You chose the wrong beating to watch. Fox and the Rangers took it harder.

I'll gladly take either. Both are WAY better than Randorf.

I am unsure if you meant it as a comparison with his past behaviour, but I have yet to see Monahan sulking.

I was in first place in one of them but I think when flame appears the shesterkin retreats and I’m gonna drop a few rungs. The chlorine flames bested my shesterkin pools. They needed a good cleaning indeed Jiri! However thanks to them playing in the east I don’t think my pools will need much more cleaning.

Singh and Cassie in my opinion are massive homers of the grease. I turned off my sound last night when Cassie exclaimed " and this is going to be a 6-0 win" . Like with 4 mins left in the game. Hardly any excitement around saint Matthias goal which was better then McAvi. No good
Get them off my TV!

This right here is massive to be honest. At the end of the season if we end up in a playoff race this fantastic start and collecting all the points could be the difference maker between making it and not.
As a Flames fan it is hugely refreshing to not be starting behind the 8 ball heading into November which almost always happens.
Good for the Flames, hope they keep playing amazing and keep believing in themselves.

I scoured the internet looking for anything post game from Fox. I want to hear him say that he wouldnt play for the flames. I know it been long rumored. I just dont trust Bradley with a ounce of anything and I need to hear it from the horses mouth.

Singh is an Oilers homer for sure, it's on record that he is an Oilers fan who grew up in the Calgary area so that tells me he is a pretty intense Oiler lover but I think it's harsh on Cassie to call her that - her husband works for the flames and I think she is trying her best to be neutral.

He’s never come out and said it
Why would he?
But it’s pretty clear he was only ever going to sign with New York
If you don’t see that that’s on you

Or Kahless. These sayings always sound better in the original Klingon.
