I agree. I remember my dad calling in sick to work (the only time I think he ever did) and then calling my school saying that I won't be attending because he was taking me to the 1985 all star skills.

Who was that coach that said it was night and day between the Saddledome and the Rogers arena in Edmonton? He said that the Saddledome was a dump compared to Edmonton's arena.

The Montreal Forum lasted 72 years. Maple Leaf Gardens 68 for NHL hockey but still standing. The Boston Garden 67. Chicago Stadium 65.

It seems like a modern phenomenon that arenas are considered old at 34.
