No way Keyshawn gets a sniff.

The mock draft is pretty crappy, but most places I've seen have Berry rated as the #1 DB. The guy can and has played every position from S to nickel. You're out of your mind if you think Thomas gets picked before him. I've seen Thomas ranked as low as #5 as far as DBs go. He'll be lucky if he gets picked before Mays.

I'm hoping he falls to the Chiefs. Speculation is that he will be gone by then.

Yeah, we've got a better shot at Mays. I'd be pretty happy with Mays because he seems like a young Dawkins almost. Big hitter and a ball hawk.

My thoughts are that Tampa would be INSANE to pass over Berry. A playmaker back there is exactly what that defense needs. And if it so happens that St. Louis takes Suh and Detroit takes Okung. Then the Bucs have two QUALITY defensive players to pick from. Both DT and S are needed on that defense. If they do go with DT, then I'd expect the Redskins to grab Berry.
If the Cheifs could steal him at 5....wow.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Skins grab a QB. Shanahan will want a guy to 'develop'.

Yeah, my dream list for the first round is one of either Berry, Mays, Haden or Weatherspoon.

Problem is that kind of developmental QB shouldn't be a top 5 pick.
I think they'd grab someone in the 2nd round, or even potentially the 3rd round.
Even St. Louis is in need of a QB, but you can't take a QB at #1 this year. I think they may trade down, if they can find someone who wants Suh bad enough.

If you're not scared off by Bradford's shoulder, he could go there.
I think there will be some good offers for that pick. Suh is phenomenal.

I'm warming more and more to a draft day trade of Marshall for a 1st and taking Dez Bryant.

Something's going to go down for sure.
How long until we hear of the Scheffler to Redskins deal? You know it will happen.

I want Berry over any other guy in the draft but everything I have read and heard says that the Lions will go with a DT or Okung.
I think it will end up being DT for the Lions and which one will depend on whether the Rams take Suh or not.

Redskins have already got some really good TE's. But yeah to see Shanny go after Scheffler wouldn't surprise me. I hope Mac can get a 3rd for him.

Yeah, that's a fair price. Shanahan has always valued tight ends a lot in his offense. We usually had 3 good ones, even when Sharpe was in his prime and playing every play.

Many mock drafts I've seen have the Chiefs taking Russel Okung.
You can see Mel Kipers top 5
1.Suh St.Louis
2.McCoy Detroit
3.Berry Tampa
4.Bradford Washington
5.Okung Kansas City
I've seen a few mocks with the Chiefs getting Okung. Gil Brandt thinks Michael Oher is a better player but that Okung will be a good one. If the Chiefs do this they can slide Brandon Albert back to guard as his salary is around a million a year so it won't kill them. With Waters getting on in age wouldn't be a bad idea to have the left side of the line set for years.
With the Flames looking unlikely for the playoffs this year I may have to get into the draft really hard core. I think the Chiefs have 4 picks in the top 100 or 101 this year.

Yeah let me know where I said Thomas is going to get picked before Berry... Um that would be nowhere... Thomas is at 15 or higher on a lot of boards. Berry is top 5. Thanks for putting words in my mouth though much appreciated... If I say McCoy is higher than this guy thinks does that mean you are going to claim that I said he was going to be picked before Bradford? Thanks for playing.
