It is difficult have a lefty playing third because of the way he would have to turn to throw over to first base. I can't think of any left handed fielding third basemen.

I can't remember any left handed infielders besides first base and pitchers. I think there has only been like 2 left handed catchers over the past 15 years too. If you are left handed and can throw, you're either a pitcher, a first baseman, or an outfielder of some type.

Don Mattingly played a bit of 3rd.
