But during this past week they all seemed to be set up for times like 3:00 - 5:00pm when it would have been impossible for me to get home from work in time to sign.
I think there is a big communication problem right now. The operation total recall site has pretty incomplete information on the canvasing stations. I think that fact that you are dealing with 20 independent organizers makes this a more challenging issue than the Forever Canada guys had. I know looking at the North, they have 3 or 4 times in the past week. and I could only find 1 on the site.

For anyone in Calgary-Fish Creek, there's a handy map on the McDougall recall website with locations, dates and times.

These applicants may submit a Notice of Intent with the same subject matter within 30 days to have the required application fee waived. The processes prescribed in the Act as it now reads would apply to the new initiatives.

C’mon Corb. No retreat, no surrender.

DECEMBER 12, 2025 – Corb Lund announced today that Elections Alberta has notified him that his previously approved citizen petition initiative against coal mining in Alberta’s Rocky Mountains has been cancelled.

“This morning, we were informed that our approved application for our petition to prohibit any new coal mining in the Rockies has been retroactively cancelled. We will now need to reapply under new, more stringent regulations,” says Lund.

That a democratic process installed by the government can just be altered at any time because the government doesn't agree with the direction is such a Trumpian manoeuvre, I can not believe ANY Albertan could agree that this is acceptable. UCP defenders, please explain why this is no biggie, and not entirely undemocratic.

Alberta separatist leaders expect to start canvassing in January to get their independence referendum question on the ballot, thanks to the provincial government’s latest legislation to make it easier for them to succeed.

Were it not for the United Conservatives’ speedy passage of Bill 14 this week, the Alberta Prosperity Project’s citizens initiative would have been in peril, thanks to a judge’s ruling that the existing initiative law didn’t permit a referendum on independence.

That new bill revives the separatists’ project by removing the ability for Elections Alberta — or anyone — to vet a proposed question’s constitutional validity.

Education Minister Demetrios Nicolaides is rallying UCP volunteers to fight against the bid to recall him, prompting the petition leader to warn Elections Alberta that the MLA’s counter-campaign might be overstepping the rules.

He went further this week. Nicolaides emailed his riding’s UCP members, urging them to volunteer to help him counter the “politically motivated recall campaign” to unseat him.

“The process to defeat this recall requires a swift, organized and robust response, and we need to defend the mandate you gave,” Nicolaides wrote in#the email#that circulated on social media, and which he later verified to CBC News.

And here is a link to the post with the letter he wrote asking for help

I was thinking about this when I was signing the recall today. There was a guy yelling at us out his lifted truck saying all sorts of nonsense which sounded almost scripted. I gotta think these "volunteers" are just sent to heckle and harass the people at the recall stations.

After checking the website everyday, I see Rebecca Schulz is in the gathering signatures phase. Since I live in the deep SE, I don't have much hope of this recall process doing much but I need to find info on where I can put my signature down. Is it a matter of simply emailing the organizer?

I do not see any events for her riding. I am guessing they are still trying to sign up canvassers to collect signatures?

Emailing the organizer is a good starting point to get pen to paper or even offer to help.
