I remember watching that Iginla v. Guerin fight and thinking: "holy ####. Iginla just beat the hell out of Bill Guerin!" At a time when Guerin was still respected around the league as a tough, all-around player.

He literally ripped the jersey off his own back in order to free himself — you can see afterwards the fight strap attached to the back of his pants with only a tiny bit of cloth left...

Iginla and his fights have been well documented.
Not mentioned, and ones where he goes crazy, being legit mad:

Getting run by Vokun
Going to town on Denis lambert in the Ducks brawl, he wanted Sawyer though
Taking an extra couple shots on former teammate David Hale. Certainly something behind the scenes there.

I was at that David Hale fight game and it did feel targeted. Based on David Hales stats as a Flame I’m going to guess he wasn’t exactly the most driven guy in the locker room.

I wonder how many questions in before press asks about "forever flame" or retired #?
Watch flames still not give a definitive answer even though they knew that the question was going to be asked weeks ago.

Love the monkey at the end of that clip. Any hockey monkey is a monkey friend of mine.

Today that would be considered cruel and unusual punishment though for the primate.

Brian McGratton staring directly into the lens is the type of thing nightmares are made of.

Has anyone heard if he is in fact signing a 1 day contract to retire a Flame?

Is anything going to be televised? I've been looking around and can't find anything. I'm out of town working but I'd like to set my PVR so I don't miss it.
