That period was utter dog####. Gulutzan better be peeling some paint in the intermission. They look like they absolutely don't care at all what happens tonight. That's concerning.

I guess, but outside of an insane 6 week stretch from Brian Elliot we have a coach who has been completely mediocre in every NHL season he has coached.

I don't understand the patience with this guy. Weird line combos, forcing people to play at a position they are not suited for (Brodie/Bennett), he is insanely obsessed with L/R d pairings, his teamn is undisciplined, he clearly plays favourites and his defensive team gives up a ton of shots.

This guy's is just not a good NHL coach.

Pretty hard to "stay outta the box" when the other team plays to another standard every ####ing night. That hook was a penalty under the early 2000s rules let alone now

How many times have the flames scored first this season?

How many first period goals have they scored? 4 in 9 games?

I'd actually like to see Gulutzan take a fine and call out the piss reffing for once. Back your team dude, the Flames should have had a 5 on 3 there.
