Kind of getting sick of the whole McDavid line that they're taking.
OMG they cured cancer, but in other news Conner wore a orange T-shirt tonight.
A handicapped kid with no legs grew legs and took his first steps On the moon, but that's nothing McDavid had a bowl of Cheerio's and gave a big thumbs up to the camera.
Bleah. You know Sportsnet there are other players on the team.

Did Laine play? Pretty invisible...

Most of Finnish team was pretty invisible, or visible in a bad way. Just not a good game overall.
Komarov was pretty good. I'm still having hard time adjusting to the fact that he's actually a pretty good player now. He used to be mostly a stone-handed depth grinder, but apparently he found his skill in Russia.

Larkin with the tap on johnny's shins for the nice pass for the one-timer at the end.
I think a lot of the guys respect him quite a bit.

Paging AC can you post Johnny Highlights? I missed the game and I really don't care about McDavid and Nugent-Hopkins.

Eichel was bad in the dot I'm pretty sure. I noticed the opposing line constantly having possession of the puck to start plays when Gaudreau's line was out there. Not a great possession line tonight. Yet Johnny still manages to put one in.

Pretty sure the current ad prices take this into consideration.
The CGI boards make a ton of sense from the broadcasters point of view, as they can sell localized ads to an international audience. Of course that means we in Finland got to see ads in Russian at times, which is almost completely pointless as 99% of Finns can't read cyrillics . (Not sure if that was a glitch or not, didn't really pay attention to the boards that much.)
Not that there's going to be a lot of Finns watching. Games starting at 3 AM are not exactly a huge draw, especially for a tournament that's not commonly appreciated to begin with.

"Did you see Auston's smile when the crowd ovation was mentioned?"
Stfu
Really hard to say which media circle jerk is worse, Toronto or Edmonton.

He earned his ice time. He also happens to be one of the most veteran players on the team. Relax.

Yeah I thought RNH had a very good game. He looks to be more assertive than in years past.

He gets PK time, too, which added up more this game.
