Could Montreal be the team out east? Seems doubtful considering the way he left, but they do have 3 2nd round draft picks.

Gotta be the NE
Montreal might want him back given the changes on and off the ice. Has cap room with buyout of Kaberle.
Buffalo needs to make changes. Would need to send money back.
Ottawa needs scoring that shows up in the playoffs. Has plenty of room.

I'd love one of these to come true:
Cammy to Buffalo for Myers
Cammy to Ottawa for Zibanijad
Cammy to the Leafs for Gardiner
(there would have to be additions by one team or the other in each trade but something along those lines would be great for the Flames

I'd say the Flames would have to add in each deal.

probably not with the leafs deal, I could see them talking on half of Cammys cap hit but if they did add, I think the leafs would too. SOmething like Cammy + Gio for Gardiner + something else

Cammy for Stone + 3rd from OTT would suffice for me.

If Cammy is being traded out East, here are some teams and assets that may make sense given the Flames' player philosophy:
Toronto
2013 picks: 21, 51, 82, 142, 172, 202
Prospects: Matt Finn (D, 6'0" 195, drafted 2nd round 2012), Andrew MacWilliam (D, 6'2" 220, drafted 7th rd 2008, Calgary kid, Captain at UND)
Ottawa
2013 picks: 17, 78, 102, 108, 138, 161, 168
Prospects: Mark Stone (RW, 6'2" 188, drafted 6th rd 2010)
Montreal
2013 picks: 25, 34, 36, 55, 71, 86, 176, 206
Prospects: Danny Kristo (RW, 5'11" 188, drafted 2nd rd 2008, played at UND), Greg Pateryn (D, 6'3" 214, shoots right)
Roster players: Yannick Weber (D, 5'11" 200, shoots R, RFA)
Buffalo
2013 picks: 8, 16, 38, 52, 69, 129, 130, 143, 159, 189
Prospects: Jake McCabe (D, 6'0" 200, drafted 2nd rd, 2012, plays at Wisconsin), Mark Pysyk (D, 6'1" 188, drafted 1st round 2010)
Roster: Myers or Vanek

Given Corban's weird Twitter update last week, I wonder if Calgary is targeting Danny Kristo from Montreal, using Cammy as bait in a one-for-one, or multi-player deal.

Kristo should not be sought. He has well documented off ice issues and has had drug problems in the recent past.

Wasn't it Millions that said Kristo and other UND teammates may surprise at the draft according to Knight?
Any UND players highly rated in the draft this year? I'm thinking Knight said to look for some of his teammates to surprise at the draft and Millions isn't aware that Kristo has already been drafted.

My mistake, it was Roger Millions that posted this, not Corban Knight:
Roger Millions @RogMillions 42s
Knight adds that Danny Kristo his UND teammate could surprise next Sunday in Newark. #2013NHLDraft

Cammalleri will not be welcomed back kindly in Montreal.

Should come as no surprise that you, again are making up random stuff.
"It hasn’t all been good news for Kristo though, as there are some questions about his maturity. Kristo, an alternate captain for North Dakota, was suspended early this year for organizing a team party (with the other captains) and serving alcohol to underage members of the club. For Kristo, who had been disciplined for his own underage drinking as a freshman and lost games that year as a result, many stated that he should have known better. There was also a strange frostbite incident in Kristo’s sophomore season that cost him games, and what exactly happened that night has never been fully explained. It is these off-ice questions of maturity, that seem to be the biggest question marks surrounding Kristo at this point in time."

It was speculated the severe frostbite incident was due to being high on drugs although he claimed he was just wasted. Either way I don't think the claims about immaturity for a professional athlete are too far off.

NCAA already has drug testing, UND have their own on top of the already scheduled NCAA testing. Seems odd that he's yet to test positive for any drug use, no?
