If you're making $5.75M you're expected to generate some offense. Besides I doubt he's going to do much better playing this way with either Huberdeau - Kadri, or Backlund - Coleman.

Unfortunately he is not that kind of player. He can't create offence by himself, or can't be great forechecker. But he is good at quick transition games who can compliment linemates who can create a little bit space and time. He didn't have that kind of chance today.
