You know, it’s sad to say but when Johnny is off his game and not generating anything, his defensive warts really shine through.
Not engaged, floating around disinterested, letting his man skate by while he stands still trying to pile at the puck.
He really needs to get it going, I don’t like this Johnny.

Monahan has been more physical early this season. It does look like he's trying to be more engaged, but he's got a long way to go. Nobody fears to #### with these guys, and Milan Lucic isn't going to change that, only they can.

I'm shocked that yet again an easy, automatic penalty to the Ducks wasn't called.
How buddy-buddy is Getzlaf with the refs? It's insane how this is the constant treatment they get.
