Rock Band Rules

I found Rock Band on Saturday in Strathmore at the Walmart, they had quite a few PS versions ut only a couple of Xbox.

All in all I love this game and I haven't gone back to Guitar Hero since. Drums are a QM set so that's ok but they can miss the odd note so I plan on modding them with Vic Firth mutes and possibly taking a piece of rubber and putting in the drum over the sensor to create more pressure.

Yep they sure do, as well as showing up in the random lists as well as the other listings as well

I had my old man over tonight to play some Rock Band for the first time. He had us all in tears trying to do the drums. Not because he was so bad, but because he was too good. He's been a drummer all his life and just couldn't tone it down for the game. He just wound up playing guitar all night so we wouldn't keep getting booed off stage.

This totally came back to bite me in the ass. I downloaded a bunch of songs and now I live in fear of them showing up in Random Request set lists on Band World Tour cuz they still kick my ass on Hard level.

After playing for awhile I'm noticing my red snare drum misses hits. I did a test on Train Kept a Rollin' on the drumroll part. If I hit the drum pad I generally could get 60-70% but when I choke up on the sticks and drum roll on the black plastic rim I scored no lower then 96%. I thought you weren't supposed to hit the plastic? Anyway I've been very tame with it as I don't want to crack it.

I can't belive that the second guitars won't be available until April.

How is anyone else out there with RB for PS3 finishing the game without the bass?

Spike, when I was in EB Games at Market Mall they said the guitars would be out the beginning of March, and I asked just a few days ago. Where did you hear April?

We got into the Hall of Fame with our band and are waiting to do the 58 song setlist. The only problem now is we tend to play the game when we are pretty drunk and have a bad habit of going to our band that has lots of stars. The next morning we'll go back to play it and find we lost 30 000 fans......

So where did you get the extra guitar to play bass from? Or do you have a 360?

Ahhh, sorry, I misunderstood your post. No, we only have the 1 guitar. I know you can buy them off ebay for around $65.00 + Shipping if you really want one now.

this is exactly where i am at as well with my red snare.

i already replaced the guitar as it missed notes too.

personally, i still prefer the wireless gh3 guitar...but the rb one isn't too bad.

too bad they have these quality problems but they at least are standing behind their products so far.

Yeah the pads aren't great but I don't know if I hit the black rim I get every note. I did the sock mod and basically wrapped them around the drumheads so when I dampen the hit on the plastic so I don't crack them. Has worked like a charm so far.

Nyko Frontman comes out for the ps3 on March 25. suppose to work for both GH and Rockband

Do you know what this means? There was a list released last week that somebody found within the gaming code that had a bunch of tracks that haven't been released in it. The list had last weeks 3 tracks as well as "still alive". Getting pretty safe to say that this list is accurate:
