O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.

There is no doubt there are teams that like Kylington. They just don't like him enough to give him a NHL roster spot over who they have or for cap reasons.

GMs regularly make major mistakes. I don't take this as a consensus that he's not an NHL player.
I concede that he is a tweener. But a tweener with one borderline elite skill - skating. You can make a player out of this guy IMO.
