Smith has been average at best tonight...gave up an early one on a bad turnover. It is what it is...the frustration comes because we all saw it coming.

Wonder where the "he's a good back-up" guys will be next season when Smith can't get a job. Some of us don't want to blow a division/conference lead and get a tough round 1 matchup because Smith isn't good enough.

That's a pretty grey line for us to take. Constant over the top negativity or derailing threads might warrant an infraction sometimes, but just being negative or disliking a player isn't worth an infraction. It's just a different opinion.

Toxic threads, yes. This should be a fun year but there a certain group of posters I've noticed throughout the season that have really made these games a lot less fun then they should be. Best season in ages and they have to make sure we all know how ticked off they are every time Smith plays. And even sometimes when he's not playing.

I'd suggest using the ignore button for now.

Not really, there's been more than one Flames goalie I didn't have much faith in but I didn't blame them for every goal they let in.
