Must have taken the over.
He looks right in the camera too, which is hundred of feet away across the field. Almost like some sort of code. Even his dad takes an odd worrying glance at him just before that. Weird.

Much respect for Davis. First, coming back from two torn ACL’s, then breaking his arm. Was he good to go? Who knows, but rather have guys like that out therr then guys like Cam not wanting to risk a deep bruise in the biggest game of their career.

That is some kind of example of dedication to your teammates.

Hi Internet. For the record, Budweiser did not pay Peyton Manning to mention Budweiser tonight. We were surprised and delighted that he did.

All about the optics. He can't be seen cheering for any other team, regardless of whether his brother is playing- the new york media and fans would probably crucify him- probably why he looks at the camera. I recall a similar sort of thing out of Peyton in the Giants two superbowls- was sitting way back in the suie and was very subdued.
And Eli jokes aside, these guys are competetive and he undoubtedly wants to be playing, not watching, and would never cheer for another team.

Please - no one in NY would blame him for cheering for his brother.

I don't think it's a big deal. I like it that he's pouty and petulant. Losing the super bowl after a season like that hurts.

Congrats to the multiple Broncos fans on the board! Was a fantastic defensive display the last two games, something I hope the team I cheer for can emulate!
Now it's the dreaded off season.
Oh and it was great to see Scam Newton back to his old self. He just destroyed all the goodwill he had built up throughout the season.

Based off Cam's antics last night in losing, is there any doubt we would have seen the biggest ego trip in history had Carolina won? Cam has a lot more growing up to do, and if he doesn't change his attitude no one will ever root for him to win anything because no one is gonna want to deal with his overinflated ego when they do win. No doubt he would have compared himself to Christ had they won.

You can hate losing, that's fine. But you need to tip your hat to the other team, lose with some grace. "They played well, we need to be better..." etc You're leading the team, you can't just skulk out when it doesn't go your way. Face the music and give credit where it's due.
