Thanks to Madrid, a draw and a win ended up being no different, but man was that dire.

Mignolet is terrible. Rodgers refuses to use his subs even with clearly tired players trying to defend a lead, and when he does finally use a sub it's to take off our best player for a defender. Meanwhile Gerrard walks around while Coutinho and Lallana twiddle their thumbs on the bench.

And Glen Johnson is Glen Johnson. He shouldn't even be in the squad let alone starting multiple games a week.

Refusing to drop Johnson and Gerrard is going to cost BR his job.

Yeah, easy to focus on the diving but fact of the matter is that currently he is the best player on the planet and will go down in history as one of the greatest ... ever.

Privileged to be able to witness him and Messi at the same time.

Gotta remember when taking all these hat-tricks and goals into consideration that just like Messi, objective #1 for opposition managers is to shut him down. Also, that considering the special attention he gets and the number of times he is actually fouled his fitness and lack of injury is amazing.
