I really wish Sutter would quit drafting big, slow, grinder type wingers that are Canadian. We need more FLASH!!

In all seriousness, that's great to read. He's putting up good numbers so far this year... I just wonder how much of it is due to the fact that he's on a stacked team though. Regardless, it's nice to see that our last three first round picks are having real good years.

The thing that makes me optimistic about Nemisz is his size. A guy with size and hockey sense is a good bet to make the NHL.

Everything after that is gravy from our draft position.

Nice night for Flames prospects. Backlund gets two goals, an assist and first star in a Kelowna win. Grantham also scores in the game.

Brodie with a goal.

Aaron Marvin with a goal and an assist. Marvin has 26 points in 32 games as a sophomore.

On the flip side, Spokane wins 11-2, but Mitch Wahl doesn't record a point. +2, though.

Great article about Greg Nemisz on the Calgary Flames website right now.

He is really having a great year.

Next game I will see him in is March 3 against London. Should be a good one.

that was in a big win for St Cloud as they move into 4th spot in the very tight WCHA; be good for Marvin's development to get into NCAA playoff action

Did you see this game? I'm just wondering if anyone can comment on what type of player he is.

Tod button calls him a big, strong crash and bang forward who drives to the net well and parks himself there ala Holmstrom to score goals

Liking Nemisz more and more as the days go on. Sure, he gets to play with Taylor hall, but this just means he is developing in an atmosphere of winning. I have serious doubts that Hall is just dragging him along...

Although Marc Pouliot may beg to differ....
