A lot of hand wringing here for a team where they are frankly playing out the string.

Their style is wearing down opponents with line after line pressuring the opponents, part of the reason the thirds have been so solid. And with team putting so many resources on pressuring the top line.

Sure, getting the top line ready for April 10th and beyond would be nice but that doesn’t have to happen March 25th either.

It appears some are wanting to be the first to say I told you so.

Gaudreau with sharp angle shot. Everyone drink.

The others is Tkachuk between the legs.

Flames have been in lots of these games that are close for a while but their pressure just bears out after a while.

Better? No. Neither team generate much. Flames being at home, playing for something important and being down 1-0 while being 2 men down to start the 2nd period was disappointment. To me at least. But that is just me.

They outshot them by 2X and had the puck most of the period. They had three great chances. The two men down was an accidental play and a dumb one. I didn't say they played well, just better than the opposition.
