*officially scored 9. They have unofficially scored 11 legitimate goals.
Issue is PP2 not bottom 6.

I don't think it's been discussed enough, But the entire team defence and especially that second pair, has been much better with Hamonic back. Pittsburgh game excluded of course.
He's been steady on D and has had a few offensive contributions. If he keeps playing like this, people might even stop complaining about the trade. GASP!

It's what happens when a bunch of cretinous troglodytes think the rest of the internet cares about their pathetic sex lives.

Game Takes:
Flames 5 Hawks 3
- Flames and Rittich have a rough 8 minute span in the first
- Dominate the final 40 minutes
- Lindholm ride continues with three point game
- Peters goes blender to create three scoring lines, all contribute

This was a good game for Hamonic. But lets not get carried away. He was -1 going into this game and is -8 as a Flame.

I was thinking about this too. Same stuff with Bennett, who just needed a little confidence and some time to grow into his frame.

A number of years ago a buncha Incels decided to make November a no masturbation month.
As I go off about every year this garbage comes up again, this is so very bad for men's health for a number of reasons. That aside, now you know. Now go do the right thing and lube up your favourite hand and grasp away friendo.

I did notice at the end — Rittich was almost shaking his head like “thanks guys, you won this game not me”. Going forward I think both guys will need to keep pushing each other to be better — its too soon to write off Smith completely yet also premature to anoint Rittich as the number 1.
|
You make a valid point.
I however don’t understand why a goalie should get a penalty for delay of game for shooting it over the glass. If he genuinely wanted to put the puck out of play, all he’d have to do is cover the puck.

I've railed against the delay of game for over the glass since it's inception. Just a stupid rule IMO

I love it. It’s objective and keeps the games moving. Stops the abuse of just flipping the puck over the boards when a team is stressed or tired. That was abused like crazy, hence the rule.

Hamonic has been fantastic for the last 4 or 5 games - his best stretch as a Flame IMO. And it is no coincidence that Hanifin's play has picked up substantially as well.

Sure, but if you treat it like an icing, and don't allow teams to change or call a time-out, you achieve the same thing without the stupid penalties.
So many times, this call results in a 5 on 3, which is far too punitive for the crime.

Totally wrong.
It's the careful rotation of my three flames hats on game days that is wholly responsible for their current wins.
