I have doubts on how effective Jagr will be, but it's hard not to get excited by this signing. I was hoping Foo or another player could play well and take the 3rd RW spot, but that didn't happen. Jagr definitely looks better on that line than Brouwer.
Should be a lot less empty seats at the dome this season.
This is pretty cool!! The entire team but especially the young guys gotta be pumped. He's gotta be on the PP units so I wonder what the changes will be? Hope he learns the new slashing rule so he won't take any bad penalties early.

this provides balance. I can see the top 2 lines playing a lot of offense and the Janko, Backs and Fro line will see a lot of defensive starts. The 4th line can roll as well and I am confident they can compete and bring something offensively but not much of a liability against other teams bottom 6. The Monahan line with Tkachuk and Ferland would be tough to play against. Monahan would have speed, skill and tenacity on his wings. I remember GG mentioning that Monahan was always at his best when he came back to the bench after a shift and he has to adjust his equipment and his hair is all in his face after a scuffle at the end of the shift. With Chucky and Ferly together, this would happen almost every shift.
Johnny will have speed and skill in Sam, JJ can follow up and help hold the zone, setup the offense with two other very skilled guys. It is great. I can't wait to see how this season transpires.
This is exciting! I just hope that Janko doesn't get sent down because I think he could excel playing in the top 9 and will fit in just fine with that 3M line and his name starts with the right letter.
I hope GG tries some new combos.

I researched them first and they have a bunch of good reviews on reddit* of people saying they are legit. $180 incl tax and shipping (free). They say their jerseys are all stitched name/number and they are based out of Vancouver.....
If this store is legit (I do believe they are, with all the eBay positive feedbacks and such), we do really want to talk to them and see if we can get a group order and clean out their retro 3rd stock... Any thoughts?

The validates the Athletic article with Chris Snow discussing how the Flames hired David Johnson who created the WOWY (with or without you). They know the deficiencies of Brouwer and have found a better option. They obviously do not want him playing with Bennett either if they can avoid it.
Imagine how mad oiler fans will be on Wednesday when the broadcast has to take time that they would normally use to fellate mcdavid and use it to talk about Jagr!
