I'm most impressed by Sam Reinhart right now. I have the kid a lot of heat, and didn't see him as equal to Bennett. He's changing my mind, the guy plays a very solid game in all zones. Really see his IQ shine.

Huh. If Finland wins today they'll be the first country to win U-18, U-20 and mens World Championships in the same year. Not a huge deal but pretty cool if it happens. Also I'm surprised that Canada or Russia hasn't done it previously.
Alternatively, Corey Perry has a chance to enter the triple gold club.

It is kind of strange but Canada doesn't win the WHC often enough for it to be too much of a surprise. I'm just happy to see that there has been some decent variance in hockey tourney winners recently. Canada I guess has been the most consistent but I always prefer to see someone other than Russia, Sweden and USA (more so WJHC) win these tourneys if Canada doesn't.
Also, if watching the WHCs has taught me one thing over the years, it is that Europeans seem to have a weird attracation to bad dance music.

Other than the number Koskinen looks pretty darned good. Surprised he never cut the mustard with the Islanders (2nd round 2009, 31st overall).

I would have love to see Brad Marchand or Brendan Gallagher playing for the Flames. These are the type of players that the Flames is missing. Someone who can agitate and tick an opposition and at the same time both of them can contribute offensively. Unfortunately none of these two are available.
Pretty good game so far just kind of hard cheering for someone from the Coilers like McDavid, Hall or Talbot. I am still cheering for Canada though.
