They are absolutely ripping apart the other team. Score is 9-3.
EDIT: Make that 10-4

would have been 10-0 or 10-1 with Gillies in net
What a horrible weekend for Ramages former team Wisconsin ... yesterday they lost 9-2 to Boston College, tonight they trail 8-3 in the third vs Boston University. Ouch.

10-4, Good Buddy. Providence improves to 3-0.
Jankowski: 1G 1A +2 | 8 for 16 faceoffs
Gilmour: -2 (ouch)
Gilies: Popcorn duty
Looking at Providence's schedule, I have to think that will be the last game Gillies doesn't start until he leaves for the WJHC.
MSU lost 5-2. DeBlouw was 7 for 21 on faceoffs in the game.
Yale won 9-2. Agostino with 1G 1A.
Colgate trails 5-0 halfway through the third.

It should not go unnoticed how absolutely great Poirier has been in October. He has 7 goals and 14 points in 8 games this month, and has now crept up to #6 in QMJHL scoring.

That goal looks more like the Jankowski highlights before his draft, mind you the team providence was playing tonight sucked, but I like that it looks like he's getting his mojo back.

It's great to see almost all of the prospects having great starts to their seasons. DeBlouw and Harrison seem to be the only ones struggling out of the gate, and this is a big transition for Harrison.
Right now, Providence College and Boston College are the two highest scoring teams in the NCAA with 18 and 17 goals respectively in 3 games played.
Gillies leads the NCAA in both GAA (0.50) and Save Percentage (0.984).
Gaudreau leads the NCAA in Points per Game (2.33).
Also, a reminder that if you get Big Ten Network, BC's game on Friday against Minnesota will be televised at 6:00MT. I believe this will be the first time a BC game will be available legally on TV in Calgary since Gaudreau was drafted.

Thanks getbak, I have Big10 network too, I have no idea why.
Poirier had two more assists today. That gives him 22 points in 13 games, and puts him in a four way tie for 2nd place in scoring in the QMJHL. He's also 8 points clear of the next highest scoring player on his team. He also has 2 short handed goals.

I haven't heard too much about Klimchuk aside from a smattering on here, but even that wasn't much. Glad he's doing well though. What type of player does he project to be?

NCAA Weekly Polls (numbers in brackets are previous weeks' rankings)...
USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Men's College Hockey Poll:
http://www.uscho.com/rankings/usa-today-mens/ Boston College: 5 (6, 4, 4)
Yale: 6 (6, 6, 8)
Providence College: 8 (10, 14, 15)
USCHO.com Division I Men's Poll:
http://www.uscho.com/rankings/d-i-mens-poll/ Boston College: 5 (7, 4)
Yale: 7 (7, 6)
Providence College: 8 (10, 14)
It's still early, but the way things are shaping up, all three should receive invites to the NCAA Championship Tournament in March. Yale and BC are the last two champions, so they're not surprising, but it would be a big deal for PC, who haven't been there since 2001.
