dino is definitely pro Flames almost to fault but that is way better than reading the negative posters on here all the time.

And it was so damn annoying having that Bennett thread bumped every time the guy did anything positive over there with the Panthers. Plus, as a Flames fan it was not fun watching them roll to SC finals with Bennett and Tkachuk leading the way after having watched Huberdeau and the Flames implode all season long.

There's far worse atrocities than being pro-Flames on a Flames board.

Now if he went and did that on hf Oil or hf Canucks he would fit the parameters of troll, but flames fans generally don't roll that way (act pathetic and seek attention on rival forums disguising themselves as fans)

I do think at times though he spends far too much time arguing with anyone that doesn't have a positive view of the Flames. It just goes around and around and at some point you need to just step away from it.

Just to be clear. The guy said we're 3 points out of 3rd, and all I did was point out that the 3rd place team has 3 games in hand on us, and then call out how ridiculous it is that the entire division has played 44-45 games except LA and EDM.

He could have just said something mature, like "yeah, fair point, but until they actually win those 3 games in hand, we're still only 3 points back." That's an acceptable counterpoint that I would have probably just thanked and moved on from.

Instead it was 3 pages of crap like suggesting i'm just trying to bring everyone down, and LA is just a crap team anyway and why am I even worried about 3rd place when we're still trying to catch NSH and the final WC spot (like it wasn't him who started the whole conversation about catching LA for 3rd in the first place).

Then that's exactly what he was doing. Trust me, there was no point of his post other than to get under the skin of anyone who was cheering for those players in Florida (it wasn't just me either, lots of purely Flames fans were on the bandwagon). I've also seen it with other ex-Flames not on the Panthers, so it's not unique to my fandom of that team. It's always been extremely annoying.

It's just unnecessary and childish, and he can do better.

yeah I said they would come back to earth when Bob stopped playing at a crazy high level...and then they did, didn't they lose by 21 goals in the finals in 5 games

If you go back and read that SCF series thread Dino was right about a lot of things. I don’t know. I have an analytical approach but I have noticed Dino does have a knack of being right about unpopular opinions.
