Oh man, if the Flames core can reestablish themselves as top end, we could be in good shape for our competitive window with Pelletier, Zary and Wolf seemingly ready to step in and contribute in the near future.
Seems like it’s been a while since we had significant contributors on entry level deals.
I'd add Poirier and Coronato, even if he is unsigned currently, to this group.
I think all 5 of these guys are NHLers.

Poirier sometimes gets lost in the shuffle, but he's absolutely legit. Sutter mentioned his name TWICE in camp for praise, which bodes very well for his future. 9 points in 14 games puts him in a tie for 21st in D scoring, and he's tied for 2nd for rookie D-men.

OT: Taking my kid to a Wranglers game this week. Are all of the lots around the Saddledome $15 for Wranglers games? What about the Remington lot that's North of the Saddledome by the railroad tracks? I'd normally try to find street parking for free but in this case I don't mind paying for a shorter walk.

I parked in the lot by the Big Four when I went to a Wranglers game a few weeks ago. It was $15, and only accessible from the south entrance, due to construction on the new Convention Center (which is so huge you’d almost think it was a football stadium). Not sure what’s available on the north side of the ‘Dome.

For those of you going to Wranglers games, how would you rate the fun-level of the experience, as compared with an NHL game?
I'm curious because I've always preferred the Young Stars tournament to going to an NHL game, and think I'd really enjoy the Wranglers if/when I go to Calgary.

Is the bang-for-the-buck factor really high?
Yeah, it's awesome. Tons of fun. Great for kids.

Great game and great atmosphere. My boy was engaged the whole time and because everyone is down in the first bowl, there was always something to be watching. We are lucky to have our AHL team play in our city.
