1 point ahead of expected at this stage (assuming opener loss de rigeur). Also won a game where they gave up 3. Thus, unusually good start. Need to do no worse than a split (ideally 3/4+) in NY to keep that momentum.

Just finished watching the entire game. Great game by the Flames. Outplayed the Caps in 2 of 3 periods so that is a huge positive especially on the road.
I thought Kylington was best player on the ice for either team. Monahan was probably the worst. Valimaki also really struggled.
Lindholm and Gaudreau were dynamite. Didn't even notice Tkachuk.

Sutter did talk about it a bit in the post game presser and made a reference to Kylington's Ikoo lol (IQ). Basically said he has to read the play a little better.
I thought it was a good example to people who may not understand fully what hockey IQ means.
But overall a good game, I liked how the Flames stayed in it after going up 3-0 in the first and letting the Caps back in the second. As Sutter mentioned I thought Vladar looked solid, didn't seem rattled at all.
Good to see Elias with the hatrick, takes the pressure off the other guys and at the same time pushing them as well.
Good win.

No I did not author it, and I am just funnin with ya, with the whole Comrade bit. If this is serious (hard to tell tone from text) then I won't post it again. I am not trying to piss you off, or steal any credit for the gifs I post. I just loved that gif beyond measure and posted it to celebrate a great Flames win.
