Also what in Gods name was Hanafin dumping the puck in on that rush when a penalty is being called. Such an amateur decision. Hanafin has easily been the worst dman this series.

The negativity is sometimes a bit much... Johnny just held off a defender to get a scoring chance and drew a PS at the same time. On that PS, he was about 3 inches from getting it around Grubauer's skate and scoring. Was it his best attempt? No, but it was still close. If Johnny creates chances like those it bodes well.

One thing that's even more alarming than how slow and soft this team is? They are mentally weak. No anger, no push back, nothing! Just a pathetic. Reminds me of that saying: "adversity doesn't build character, it reveals it". So sad....

This team is just off. Right through the lineup. The only player that upped his game for playoffs was Mike Smith and probably Sam Bennett.

You can't fool the goalie going that slow with that kind of attempt.
You have to come in blazing fast so he has to retreat back into his net a little faster than he'd like, and then force him to commit to a side, hopefully forcing him to gamble on a deke.
