Thanks for the info. I was legitimately wondering who the hell would send death threats. It sure wouldn't be KH himself, or his inner circle. I figured that only leaves supporters of him, or friends, but what you've said makes way more sense.

Compare how Brown answered his allegations: Brown's lawyer has responded, saying that Brown "categorically denies these false and defamatory allegations."

Ha - didn't know I posted a Rick Bell story - just posted the first story I found addressing Hehr's statement.

I think this whole sexual harassment epidemic will continue to grow until we as society realize we're all guilty - male & female alike. Anyone who was 14 at some point, or has had any contact with the opposite sex will ultimately do something that could be construed as harassment. We're primal beings, monkeys gonna monkey.

I guess another person stepped forward last night with allegations of gropping and inappropriate comments by Hehr.

Three women have now come forward with complaints against Liberal MP (and former minister now) Kent Hehr. One on twitter, one in a @CTVNationalNews piece and one revealed at #lpc caucus yesterday. Hehr remains in caucus. #cdnpoli #metoo @CTCMercedes

Him remaining in a caucus is likely a reasonable place while a proper investigation takes place. End his public facing roles. Effectively like office duty for a cop while under investigation.

He did speak out on the weekend but as for the Hehr case specifically he'll wait for the results of the investigation.

Didn't know where to put this, but Kinsella is talking about a major bomb about to drop.
From his website
http://warrenkinsella.com/2018/01/me...this-and-that/
Quote:
- A major PMO charm offensive is underway. Your guess is as good as mine as to why – but one can only presume that (as we saw last week with Mr. Hehr) the #MeToo juggernaut is claiming Liberals as well as Tories…
- Hearing CTV, the Star and the Globe are working the #MeToo stuff hard – as well as enterprising folks at Global TV. Not sure what, if anything, CBC or Postmedia are doing…
- The Scheer Tories are in a state of turmoil – because the (smart) women wanted to jettison Mr. Dykstra, and the (stupid) men didn’t. When/if charges are laid, the women will look even smarter…
- Hearing at least one more Tory MP is in big trouble – and that he, along with various Liberals (elected and otherwise) are very, very nervous…

Also, sounds like a big name Tory could be going down too.
Kinsella hints that there was collusion between both parties to keep things from coming out.

Yeah, I'm waiting til the story breaks. But I don't doubt that this movement is really gaining momentum in government circles and a lot of pretty prominent people aren't sleeping too well.

Mercedes Stephenson who is CTV's political reporter (and to me very good). Has noticed three things
1) Liberal Cabinet Ministers have been instructed not to talk to reporters.
2) The area roping off reporters from the Prime Minister has been extended.
3) She asked Trudeau about the Kinsella report and the person with affidavits and he basically said no. So this could be a non story, but something is different on the hill.

If that's true at all, the government falls.
And both leaders are done.

Frankly, this isn't too surprising. When you have a cabinet minister who is out based on really minor allegations (my words, and my personal opinion), you have to think that other politicians are scared/worried.
