The strategy of taking a poor quality shot followed by (hopefully) a rebound chance has brought us the dumbest (and worst) powerplay in the league. That’s on the coaches. Restructure this thing, don’t just shuffle folks around.

I love Gulutzan saying that you don’t score on power plays in today’s NHL with big slapshots from the point as his defence for not playing Stone. But I swear wrist shots from the point make up 50% of our PP shot output this year. Those for sure work better Glen.
