If you want to take a sliver of a silver lining, it underlines the need now, in the days leading up to the trade deadline, that this team is short on the depth needed for a final playoff push (it did before any injuries). "Better" now then in a week or three weeks that these things happen, when Treliving still has some control over bringing in some outside help.

This team has performing at the top, and through exhaustion and playing at this level for 5 months, but walking a fine line with the guys that are vital for ice time and for generating the offense in the manner it does.
