It wasn't just the POs. I liked Colborne's board work in the regular season.

I wanted to like Backlund's defensive work. But I didn't see it rising above anyone else's. I didn't think he handled Getzlaf better than anyone else (it was Getzlaf versus the D that was the main issue for me).

Anyway, I think Colborne has shown pretty steady progression.

Why would you post a screen shot of the interview, and not the interview itself?

It's unfortunate that Colborne lost 18 man-games due to injury in 2014-15, that's a lot of ice time for developing his skills. Plus, a decent chunk of those games he did play he was battling through injury.

This is a contract year for him so hopefully he can stay healthy for it and pack on some muscle in the offseason. I still think he can hold down a middle-bottom 6 winger spot down for the next few years if he's not dealt.. could be Jone's replacement on Ferland & Stajan's line.

18 inches. Woah what do you use for a monitor?

Coborne is a late bloomer and will get better yet.

I believe Backlund never quite fully recovered strength wise from his early season injury. I expect him to be stronger next season.

Very good interview there by Joe. Insightful answers, and well spoken.

I like how he admits that they get paid unbelievably well, and getting traded although not desirable, is a small sacrifice to play the game they love and get paid so well.

Is there any word on the nature of the "wrist procedure" that Colborne and Jooris had performed? Some of these wrist injuries can become chronic problems.

I'm especially concerned about Colborne's wrists becoming a chronic issue. It seems he's had problems with one or both of them more often than not.

One of my favorite players on the team. He went from fringe player with skill and no strength to a juggernaut. Joes ability to elevate his game was unbelievable, hopefully he heals fully and he keeps on improving.

He was throwing open ice hits like he thought he was Subban and boy was it a beautiful sight. A big, talented player with elite ability along the boards and huge open ice hits. I don't know if we've ever had anyone else like that.

Very excited about him. Burke has stated he wants Colborne to develop into a Backes type player for us.

I've heard that the Bruins have similar concerns re Lucic.

If it's Android, try a long press on the text. That should bring up the copy and paste functionality.
