I thought the episode was pretty good if you turn off your brain and just enjoy it.
Did the Changeling's forget how to turn into space whales ala Laas? I'm also hating the trope of things freezing instantly in space and shattering like T-1000. In space if you get ejected into vacuum, it takes more than a minute and half for you to suffocate and more than 12-20 hours before you actually freeze solid. Quickest way for you to die is holding your breath and explosively decompressing due to pressure difference between your lungs and vacuum. Vladic looked like she had liquid nitrogen poured on her.
Despite being evolved and fool scanners, these Changelings aren't half as good as the DS9 ones. They suck at fighting. Raffi can beat them with two sticks. Remember in Episode One of DS9 where Nog threw a weapon of some kind that just went through Odo? If they could really take any form, why humanoid? It would be so much scarier if they just kept changing shape and phasing through everything. I too was also totally expecting a space whale at the end there and not the T-1000 liquid nitrogen treatment. Also, why blow up the super-powerful enemy ship when you can board it and learn something about them? I am sure it would have some strategic uses.

Wouldn't it be basically absolute zero out there? I'd think you'd be a block of ice pretty quickly. Humans, anyway. No idea about the thermodynamic properties fo shape shifters.

There is no air, liquid, nothing to conduct the heat away from your body. It's why vacuum mugs can stay hot/cold for so long. You will cool only slowly over 12-26 hours+. They should have been able to turn into space whales since other Changlings did that before in space.
They can survive in space and they can re-assemble. While the visual was meant to give the implication she was gone, I suspect she will be back.
I doubt it. We know she wasn't the one pulling the strings, so the Big Bad will need to be revealed soon -- probably the next episode since there are only 2 left.

This show is so ham fisted at times it hurts. And you just want them to get to the ####ing point. But at the same time it's awesome to see the band back together and the overarching concepts are solid. Actress that plays Sidney is perfectly cast. It's such a shame Odo can't make an appearance rest in peace Rene Auberjonois.
The writers must have found themselves in a casual conversation with Todd Stashwick aka Captain Shaw, him talking about 12 Monkeys. The red forest door. I wonder if time will cease to exist when they walk through it maybe they will time warp and be able to change a few things.

Honestly....Vadic was so bad...what a stupid, infuriating character.
Just with Data's little dig at 'monologuing lunatics' or whatever its hard not to see Vadic as a straight-up troll job.
