What about the Bears??
He will be huge (literally and figuratively) for the Pack.

Good stuff, with the #9 pick now signed, rumours that the #8 pick (Eugene Monroe - Jags) signing is imminent hopefully #10 will get some realistic advice and sign.

I am counting on both of your teams' to help ensure the Bears finish low enough that the #1 Denver has is top 10 next draft. Do it!
As for Raji...dude is huge, and extremely athletic. Could be a monster inside for the Pack.
His little brother is a nice basketball player too.

By the way, more Packer related talk....
Prediction: Greg Jennings will be a top 3 receiver in the NFL this year. Huge numbers for this guy methinks.

Just my opinion...but I am not buying the Bears this year.
Cutler is a good young QB, but the expectations and his supporting cast will be a downfall IMO. Not to mention that defense is suspect at best (as is GB)
I may be way off...wouldnt be the first time.

Agreed....and i think Aaron Rodgers becomes a top 5 QB in the league this season....because of those skill guys around him. However...there are a couple real question marks surrounding the O-Line...and if they arent solved then my predictions are out the window.

Brandon Marshall not guilty.
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4399940
It's a shame that he's forever a woman beater when it may not be the case. This woman has major issues and obviously had no qualms about laying the beatdown on him.
Steinberg closed by characterizing Watley as aggressive and volatile, saying she lied to avoid losing the way of life to which she had become accustomed.
"She needs Mr. Marshall. She needs him in her life because she had these dreams and hopes, because she cannot let go," Steinberg said. "When is she going to leave him alone?"
Steinberg told the jury that Watley lied to police about how she got a knife wound in a scuffle with Marshall. He cited a letter she wrote to Goodell in July 2008 saying Marshall hadn't beaten her, but that her family had pressured her to say he did for monetary reasons.
Watley acknowledged under oath that she had lied in both instances to protect Marshall from getting in trouble and being suspended from the NFL.
"Is this the kind of person who is capable of lying when it matters?" Steinberg asked the jury.

Colts-Vikings preseason game tonight. I'll be watching on NFL network. Manning isn't expected to play much and it's preseason so win-loss means nothing. I just want all the backup players in there to see what they are like and no injuries!

Go Colt Anderson!
I'll be watching this one too as my son is a huge Vikings fan. I think it is on right after the Denver/San Francisco tilt...which is live.

PVR'ing the game, will take a peek at it over the weekend, just to see how everyone plays. I'm most intruiged about Loadholt's play. Let's see how he handles the tackle spot in the pro's.
Might be tough to watch this game in place of playing Madden.

Well, Knowshon Moreno looks great. Kyle Orton...not so much.
And now a 3rd interception. Couldn't you have at least given Cutler a chance before you tried to trade him Josh?
This is not going to work.

Kolb has been very unimpressive in any gametime he's had. Mind you it's been limited, but his very average completion rate and no TD's combined with plenty of turnovers causes concern.
Again, Mike Vick has a very high winning percentage and that cannot be debated. Sometimes the stats are overrated at the QB position...just ask Big Ben. Not comparing the 2 as Ben obviously has won the big games where Vick has not, but the dynamic offensive ability of Mike Vick cannot be denied.
I don't see how you could argue he's not an upgrade on Kolb.

Didnt watch the whole Colts/Vikes tilt, but what i saw was more than interesting.
Manning was awful....terrible. I think he was sacked 3 times in 6 plays. Tavaris Jackson wasn't much better.
Just looking at the stats from the Broncos/Niners, it looks like Chris Simms is far more likely to be starting for Denver than Orton...was it as bad as it looked Dis?

That is a big IF for a qb that imo is made of glass. Everything (winning/making plays) starts at the line. Cliché yes, but it seems to always hold true.

Yes and no. IIRC, Simms was playing mostly against 2nd team D. But after Orton's 3rd interception I was ready to go nuts, preseason or not.
Gotta search the internet a bit, Moreno was shown hobbling and walking back to the training room.

Yes, Simms looked great to be honest. He even threw the ball away a few times, which in that offense is an indicator that you get it.
Orton looked pretty good until he killed each drive with a bonehead interception. Not impressed at all. There were no unfortunate tips...all three were brutal throws.

I fell asleep.
My son said Jackson was awful (and he's a Tarvaris apologist) and Rosenfels looked good.
Ian Johnson had some nice runs and he said Colt Anderson even got some time at Safety! Go COLT ANDERSON!!!

You have to remember that Simms was also playing with 2nd and 3rd string players on offense. Orton had Royal, Scheffler, Stokely and Gaffney. Simms had McKinley, Jackson, Quinn, Putzier and Lloyd.
That hobbling sucks too because there was a visible difference when Moreno ran the ball compared to the other guys. Way quicker to the hole, way more power. I was extremely impressed with his 3 runs.
Moreno's short stint aside, Peyton Hillis was by far the most impressive Bronco last night. I'm not surprised either.
