The Jays, for lack of words, "got lucky" this past season. Started very poorly and turned it around. There were extraordinarily clutch plays during the playoffs that came through when needed. I was pleased in Atkins' press conference when he referenced the need to get better. Rolling this team back won't be good enough. They need to get better. Other teams may start to replicate their bat on ball approach which turned around their season. Signing Bo will be huge, and if they can get an ace that would go a long way. Upgrades beyond that will be gravy.
